The Beauty of New Media

New media is when you hear on the internet that the Donald is running for president on Twitter first or that Donald Trump could actually become the next president of the United States of America.

It can also be the only way one African country hears about Xenophobia in another one. What is Xenophobia and when did it first happen?

It has been happening. This one is special because we have social media and we could alert friends and family and get pictures of what was happening. Let’s find out what this word even means.

Xenophobia is the unreasoned fear of that which is perceived to be foreign or strange.  Xenophobia can manifest itself in many ways involving the relations and perceptions of an ingroup towards an outgroup, including a fear of losing identity, suspicion of its activities, aggression, and desire to eliminate its presence to secure a presumed purity. – Wikipedia

So you can imagine how important the new media is for everyday life. For monitoring politics and the abuse or respect of the rights of human beings and for businesses. If you would like to learn about the advantage of social media, watch the video below.

A brand is a perception or a collection of perception in the mind of the audience. So what does your brand say about you?

After watching this video, if you think ignoring new media is smart, nothing could be far from it.

One of the tips I give always is to be careful the utterances you make on Facebook. This woman is paying for saying that migrants are cockroaches and the boats bearing them should be turned back with force.

Before I leave, I will just say that content aggregation, syndication & amplification are the new ways that brands are being built here at ImagineIt Incorporated and across the social space.
