Tell me and I’ll forget. Show me and I’ll remember. Involve me and I’ll understand – Benjamin Franklin
Today I will be talking no writing on Brand Sense. What is brand sense?
People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care – Maya Angelou<
Many describe it as fame reputation and added value.
Brand sense is getting involved with your clients.
Brand sense is interacting with your clients and meeting their needs while leaving them with a pleasant memory. Maya Angelou, even though she has passed away into heaven, is a brand sense. People listen to her poems and feel comforted, encouraged, inspired to be more.
Our world is changing all the time and one of the features of our world today is constant interacting. Do you have an idea of what your brand is? What are the emotions people feel when they see or hear about your brand.
Twitter is growing everyday as a proof that human beings want to interact with one another. The world is a global village and so every brand can be accessed anywhere on phones, online and at the touch of your finger. What do you want your brand to be saying to the millions and billions of people on the internet, who are in a constant conversation.
The traditional media isn’t counted out either, newspapers and TV are still screaming the messages of many brands across the general populace. It is that opportunity you need to take advantage of. Listen to the people, your client, your audience, then interact.
Find the best way in which you can interact with your customer, existing and potential. Hear what they have to say about your brand then give them more. Give them more of what would be valuable to them.
The video above is a brand sense. It’s major focus is to represent the #BlackLivesMatter movement. Until I watched #BeingMaryJane I did not understand why almost 50% of the black male were in jail. It is the smartest way to keep the black population from dominating and something must be done about it, not by the government but by the people. You need to mentor and train the next generation to live a life that counts. We need to be committed to empowering the next generation, most especially when we have influence.
Have you asked, what is my brand sense? What is my company’s brand sense? How does it affect my world? By my world, I mean the people around me. Your world means the people around you. How does your company’s brand sense affect your world?
Make it count!
